World Health Day 2025-26
April 7, 2025
On the occasion of World Health Day, students from Junior to Std IV explored the importance of water in maintaining good health through engaging discussions and simple science experiments. This year’s theme, “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures,” highlights the need to create a strong foundation for lifelong health and access to clean, safe water plays a key role in achieving that.
Children learned how water supports essential body functions like digestion, temperature regulation, and circulation. As summer sets in, they were also reminded of the need to stay well-hydrated throughout the day.
Students were encouraged to track their daily water intake, and ‘Water Pro’ badges were awarded to Std II students in recognition of their enthusiastic participation and understanding.
One curious learner from Std III shared, “I didn’t know water could do so many things inside our body! I’m going to make sure I drink more from today.”
It was a day of discovery, awareness, and action – nurturing habits that will go a long way toward promoting a healthy lifestyle.
