Evolution of mind in a modern, stress free and cheerful atmosphere is the cornerstone on which the character of a child is built. This forms the essence of the philosophy and vision of Balmohan Vidyamandir.

Mission and Vision

Our founder Dadasaheb Rege, a recipient of National Teacher’s Award in 1962, by the then President of India, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, had planted a sapling in 1940, which has grown into an Educational Institution par excellence and has evolved into a cultural icon of the State. Balmohan Vidyamandir started its English Medium School on June 21, 1999. We continue with our Founder’s Philosophy of ensuring that the mind of a young child is a sacred space-inviolate and pure. Our teachers facilitate the process of education through discovery and enquiry, thus nurturing Socratic enquiry.
Balmohan Vidyamandir was conferred the award of Excellence in the field of Education and Community Welfare on Teacher’s Day in 2002 and declared as a Premier Educational Institution in Maharashtra. Even today, we take pride in following Dada’s philosophy, and strive to generate an informal, cheerful, stimulating and creative environment for our children and emphasize on holistic development of the child.

Mission

Holistic Development: Our endeavour has been to equip students with life skills, to enable our students, to face challenges of the real world, with equanimity. Our mission is to nurture each child to grow in self-confidence, independence, empathy and respect for others. Each child reaps the benefit of group learning while discovering avenues to explore her or his innate aptitude, talents and strengths.

Vision

There are two lasting bequests Balmohan Vidyamandir, aims to provide our children:

One is roots. The other is wings.
