Schools are often thought of as little bubbles – insulated pockets where children learn and grow before entering the world. Yet at Balmohan Vidyamandir, we have always believed our school to be part of a community, in which we share a meaningful stake. Our purpose has been to educate and inspire brave students, to equip them with the academic prowess, integrity and drive to create a lasting impact wherever they go. All students of the Balmohan Parivaar exemplify this, standing out as proud, successful bastions of the community.

Experiential Learning forms the heart of our education methodology at Balmohan. Site-visits to understand history, geography and culture, one-on-one leadership development- our hands-on learning method is aimed at creating a holistic and grounded education. This experiential focus extends into their extra-curriculars- our students are provided opportunities to participate in programmes which benefit society at large.

Academic excellence, practical experience, responsibility and a sense of community- we instil these into our students in their time with us, and encourage them to explore their passions and aspirations. We are striving to attain this goal in furtherance of the Balmohan philosophy, conscious of the rigid parameters existing in prevalent systems and working diligently to overcome limitations. We have walked on the path that Dada paved for us, and we will leave no stone unturned to fulfil our vision.

These words are true for the visionary and the founder of this great institution Late Shri Dada Saheb Rege. Continuing with his legacy and ideology, we at Balmohan Vidyamandir strive to impart two important virtues to our children – One is “roots” and the other is “wings”.

I take pride in being a part of the wind beneath these wings. We at Balmohan, try to create an environment that will evoke their creativity and curiosity along with hands-on experiences.

We are extremely proud to nurture children by celebrating all festivals along with unique in house programmes like Annaleela, On-My-Own Camps, Kaleidoscope, and the list is endless. Our tradition of celebrating Dassera and Diwali has a special memory for each and everyone associated with this school.

My journey with Balmohan Vidyamandir has been a witness to the glittering milestones and fluttering flags of triumph. Each milestone has a glorious story to tell and each flag has a victory song to intone.
