Std III – Celebrating The Cultural Threads Of India 2025-26

October 14 , 2025

The Std III students celebrated “The Cultural Threads of India”, showcasing the beauty of our nation’s traditions and attire. Dressed in vibrant outfits – from Maharashtra’s navarikoli, and mawla attire, to the pattu pavadamundu, and saree of southern states, as well as the kediyu of Gujarat and traditional wear of Punjab, Kashmir, Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, and Patna – the children brought India’s rich and diverse culture to life.

Each child spoke about the state they represented with great enthusiasm, bringing alive its uniqueness and essence. While today the children shared interesting facts about the states, this activity also serves as a beautiful opportunity to notice how every region’s attire tells its own story – a reminder that our clothing, too, is a reflection of who we are and where we come from.

This experience not only encouraged students to observe and appreciate these cultural details but also provided them with a wonderful platform to express themselves confidently, celebrating the diversity that weaves together the fabric of our nation.

India’s strength lies in its diversity – each thread adds colour to the fabric of our nation.
