Std V to IX – Republic Day Celebration 2025-26

Republic Day reminds us that freedom comes with responsibility. With this belief, Balmohan Vidyamandir commemorated the day through a celebration focused on patriotism and responsible citizenship. The event was confidently anchored by the Student hosts – Adhij Sakre and Shreeya Shirgaonkar of Std VIII who smoothly connected the segments and maintained the flow of the programme with grace and enthusiasm.

 The celebration began with a vibrant cultural segment featuring dance performances by our Students, reflecting the rich diversity and patriotic fervour of India. With passion in their hearts and pride in their stride our Students of Std VII brought alive the unforgettable Women’s World Cup victory on stage, honouring the strength and resilience of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team.

 The celebration further included inspiring speeches by Ratnesh Parab – Std VIII who emphasized on the significance of duty, unity and patriotism and Arnav Bhosle – Std VIII highlighting the relevance of our National Song Vande Mataram.  A much appreciated performance was the melodious group song  Hum Sab Hain Hindustani  sung by the Students of Std V & VI which received warm applause from the audience.

 Following the Cultural program, certificates for Creative Writing Competition – Std VIII & IX were handed over to the winners. Thereafter, the event proceeded to the Prize Distribution Ceremony, wherein trophies were awarded to the Houses for their remarkable achievements for the Academic Year 2025-26.

 The Trophies awarded were:

 Best House in Inter- House Quiz Competition : Aruni House

 Best House in Sports : Pralhad House and Eklavya House

 Best House Trophy for the year 2025-26 – Eklavya House

 The programme concluded on a solemn and patriotic note with the National Pledge administered by the Asst. Head Boy Ashutosh Utturkar followed by the National Anthem.
