Std III – Field Trip to Nehru Science Centre 2025-26

July 30 , 2025

Field trip to the Nehru Science Centre was a wonderful opportunity for our Std III students to witness science come alive beyond the classroom walls.

Students walked through the Open Science Park where they observed a unique clock powered by solar energy, sparking curiosity about renewable sources of power. They also explored a small butterfly garden, which offered a quiet moment with nature amidst a day filled with discovery.

Inside the centre, students attended a live demonstration that explained several scientific principles through simple yet engaging experiments. Their eyes lit up with wonder as they saw science in action.

Another highlight of the visit was the Science on a Sphere show. Students were introduced to the planets of our solar system in an immersive and visual manner, deepening their understanding of space.

In the final segment of the tour, students explored exhibits showcasing the human body as a machine – understanding how our organs and systems work in co-ordination. They also got a glimpse into India’s aviation history through displays and a viewing gallery.

It was a day full of exploration, learning, and joy – where science wasn’t just taught but experienced.
