Janmashtami and Matrudin Celebration

Balmohan Vidyamandir celebrated Janmashtami and Matrudin with devotion and joy. The day beautifully combined devotion and gratitude, drawing inspiration from Lord Krishna’s playful spirit and the tender bond he shared with Maa Yashoda.

A beautifully adorned Krishna Jhula stood as a symbol of reverence, adding grace and divinity to the occasion. Energetic and graceful dance performances further added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration, filling the atmosphere with festive cheer. The highlight of the day was the traditional Dahi handi. Students worked in teams to break the handi filled with puffed rice, reflecting the playful spirit of young Krishna.

The celebration was not only a cultural expression but also a reflection of Lord Krishna’s eternal teachings – truth, compassion, righteousness and joy in togetherness.
